People have a way of making money come to life. I had a group of people once draw what they thought that image of money may look like. It was an interesting session, and I thought I’d repeat it here.
I also participated in an experiment at a seminar where people were asked to describe how they felt when they thought of money, and surprisingly the overwhelming response was a negative one. Why? Because the thought of money brought financial worries.
Money has been given all types of personalities, particularly negative ones. It has mostly been called the root of all evil, but how can that be? Inanimate objects don’t have personalities and can do no harm – money is a tool that is used for bartering. The people who handle the tool are in control of how it is used.
I am asking you to think about what money means to you and then either draw a character of money or describe it for me. Have fun!
